My dog Willie went to stay with Doggie Home From Home for the first time last week whilst I had to work away for a couple of days. Caroline kept me up to date on how he was getting on which put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Caroline and Doggie Home from Home.

When Caroline arrives at our house to collect Milo he is always so pleased to see her and the fact the he requires no lead to go to her car and jump into the driving seat lets both myself and my husband know he is more than happy to be going to stay with Caroline and her family. [I have to say though I think Josh is Milo’s favourite friend]. I would not hesitate to recommend Caroline if you were looking for someone to care for your pet as you would if they were still at home with you.

I used Caroline for the first time last week to look after my 17 year old Lakeland terrier. I was anxious as we had previously had a very poor experience of a home boarding service in the chesterfield area Ralph is very frail and blind and requires alot of attention ( when he isnt asleep !! ) – Caroline was great she contacted me every day and sent me photos – when we went to pick him up he had recently been bathed and was clearly happy. I have already booked again for our next holiday

Hello, my name is Milo I am a Vizsla and am 1 and 3/4’s nearly 2! I saw my Mummy writing and thought I would too. When I see my Mummy with a suitcase I know its going to be fun because I know Caroline will be coming in her car. Sometimes I sit in the driving seat before she gets in. Daddy makes me sit behind bars in his car! I used to stay in other kennels, they were definitely not the 5 stars Mummy is always talking about but now I get to play with Josh and Thomas so I think Carolines must be at least 6 stars. My friend Lucy used to come as well but Mummy says Lucy is now in the pot of Forget me Nots in the garden. [Sometimes I really have to worry about Mummy and what she says]. Lucy was always frightened of everyone expect Mummy and Daddy but even Lucy was happy at Carolines, Lucy and me even went there for Christmas. So if your Mummy says you have to stay with Caroline don’t be frightened because its great fun Perhaps I will see you there.

We are Toby and Charlie; we love having playdates and sleepovers with Aunty Caroline (we call her AC) and our doggy friends! We ride in her car (do you know she collects and returns us home?) we have fun walks and a fab day. We also had a whole week with her and she sent photos to Mum! Mum and Dad say things we don’t understand but you humans need to know ; they say she is flexible, and reliable and warm and friendly; they said something about trust too and excellent value. I heard Mummy say that she doesn’t know what she’d do without her (Mummy works from home and gets a thing called “stressed” but when we’ve been to ACs Mums happy that we are a thing called “tired out” – we don’t know what that is but we do know Mummy is happy and smiley then) Oh and we did hear Mummy say that we are so tired out that like Daddy we fall asleep on the sofa!!! We love her and can’t wait for our 2 weeks summer holiday with her. Yay!

I would highly recommend Doggie Home from Home, my dogs are softies and are not keen on kennels but they came back exhausted. I will be using again, Caroline will keep you up to date if you want or if you are like us only want to know if anything goes wrong she will do this aswell. Fetched jake back from caroline fri it was our first time at doggie home from home he is an 11yr old staffie and has had a fab time playing like a puppy with all his new friends needless to say he was very tired!! we have already booked again for our next holiday and will also be taking our new girl ellie such a relief to know they will be happy and well cared for well worth it even though it means an hour drive there and back 🙂

Our dog Ozzy was rescued from the RSPCA and we were uncomfortable leaving him with new people….until we met Caroline!!! Ozzy stays with Caroline when we work long days and he absolutely adores her and her pug, Bob. When Caroline arrive at the front door Ozzy is so glad to see her. The service is outstanding, value for money, but above all, trustworthy. Thank you Caroline!!!

I searched high and low for a solution to kenneling my 2 German Shepherds, one of which is VERY energetic and highly strung and I knew he would not cope in kennels. I found Caroline and have been thrilled that I did!! The babies stayed with her for the first time in May, for 2 weeks. I was nervous as I have never left them with anyone else for that amount of time, but Caroline coped with my (ridiculous) texts impeccably and reassurred me everything would be fine. I really needn’t have worried!! They came back to me bouncing out of her car incredibly happy and incredibly tired – believe me, tiring out my pair is some achievement! They will be staying with Caroline again later in the year for a month whilst we visit family in New Zealand. I have not hesitated to sing Caroline’s praises to anyone who will listen (and those who won’t!) and feel very confident leaving my babes with her again. Excellent service, very impressed, thanks!

Our 1 year old beagle has just returned from a weeks doggy holiday!!! We received a very friendly, professional service and our dog really enjoyed himself! He has come back very well looked after and to be honest I think he’s sulking about coming home!! We received lots of pictures and messages during our holiday which was lovely for our young children! I will definitely be using this service again and would recommend to anyone looking for doggy accommodation!

I spent more time searching for someone friendly, caring and mad enough to look
after my 2 dogs whilst I was on holiday than I did searching for a childminder
for my kids…. And then I found Caroline!!!! I have used kennels before for my
older dog and she has always come back stressed and smelly… i wanted a homely
enviroment where they would get looked after in a home not a kennel.The dogs had
a great time at doggie home from home and I was reassured to see them looking
happy and relaxed in pictures on Facebook. They were very well looked after and
come home having had a holiday themselves. I have recommended doggie home from
home to everyone I know, will definatly be booking again for next years holiday.

I was lucky enough to come across Caroline by chance when I was looking for daycare for my 5 month old Jack Russell Eddie. I would have no hesitation in recommending her – she provides a fantastic service and Eddie can’t wait to get in her car when she comes to collect him! Wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else.

I was worried about finding someone who would look after our 2 year old, very hyperactive Jack Russell, but Caroline wasn’t phased at all and welcomed Charlie in to her home for the fortnight we were on holiday. Caroline was very friendly and laid back and we weren’t worried at all about Charlie while we were away, we even got texts and photos telling us what he had been up to which was nice to see he was enjoying his holiday as much as we were! When we collected Charlie he looked healthy and happy (and had even lost some of his unwanted weight!) and once we got him home he seemed genuinely sad to be back at home without his new friend Bob. We will definitely be recommending Doggie Home from Home and will be booking Charlie in again!

We had a house fire on October 7. Initially we moved into my daughters house with our four GSDs but along with her two, the house was too full. Our daughter had used Caroline before and had such glowing reports so she was the only place I felt happy about taking them to. At short notice, and with a massively large welcoming heart our precious babies were integrated into Caroline’s family. We go to visit and they are pleased to see us but quickly get back to playing with Caroline’s own dog (what a star) and her day clients. They are happy, well cared for and loved. I haven’t worried about them for a moment. They are perfectly safe. I really can’t recommended this lady highly enough and when we eventually get out fur kids home I suspect they will miss Caroline and all the fun. No question about where they’ll board in the future. We are visiting Sheffield from Canada and brought along our bassethound Bubba. We are really picky about who we leave our dog with because he is pretty wild and needs alot of attention. I found Caroline over the internet and didn’t even have to meet with her because I instantly felt comfortable just talking to her over Facebook. She came and collected Bubba from our place, sent photos of him playing and making himself at home. He always comes home and sleeps the next day because he is so exhausted! We never have to worry about him there and so happy to have found her!

Having had Daisy from a rescue centre only a few months earlier, I was concerned about booking a holiday, then I came across ‘Doggiehomefromhome’. I contacted Caroline and she came to visit and although Daisy is quite nervous of strangers, we both felt comfortable meeting her and I booked Daisy in for two weeks. She was collected and returned at an agreed time and I received pictures and updates of her stay whilst we were away. I never felt uneasy or worried about leaving her like I knew I would if she was left in kennels. Daisy loves her cuddles and walks but does sleep a lot! However I do think she is mising her ‘pals’ she has left behind.
I will have no hesitation in using Carolines services in the future. Thankyou again

I haven’t been on holiday or a weekend away for 9 years cause whenever I’ve left my dogs in kennels they have always come home really ill.
I know Caroline personally but I’m still very picky who takes care of my dogs as they’re my babies. I booked a weekend away with the kids and decided to leave my 11 month old terrier with Caroline, I warned her that he was a live wire, full of beans and always on the go. Caroline made me feel at ease straight away she is fantastic with the dogs and without a doubt a magician too as my baby boy came home worn out. The service I received were second to non and without a doubt would always highly recommend Doggie Home from Home. Thank you so much for having my baby for me.

I work odd shifts. When my dayshifts clash with my partners, Caroline calls for Hattie, our beloved flat coated retriever, takes her for a walk and pops her back home where she sleeps the afternoon away.
Recently an unexpected illness in the family meant we needed someone to look after Hattie for the full week. Caroline jumped to the rescue. I was sure Hattie would be loved, cuddled and walked the way she deserves. Hattie has also been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and her medicine was sent along with her.Whenever I was concerned my text message was promptly replied to which put my mind at ease.
Most importantly Hattie returned a Happy Doggy!.

Having only had Sidney a couple of months we were really worried where to leave him whilst we went on holiday. Doggie Home From Home was recommended to me by my sister. Caroline came to meet us and Sidney and instantly put us at ease. Whilst we were away Caroline kept us up to date with Sidney’s antics snd reassured us that he was fine in our absence…so much so we don’t think he missed us one bit! I didn’t worry about Sidney once during our holiday as I knew Caroline would take excellent care of him and give him plenty of cuddles. Sidney loved playing with Bob and when Caroline brought him back to us he looked most disgruntled that his holiday too was over! We could not have entrusted Sidney to anyone better!

My little dog had a stay while we was away, I was worried as she had not been anywhere different before, Caroline made us and spot feel very relaxed and her communication was excellent while we was away, we was very pleased and highly recommend the excellent personnel service.

We were really worried about leaving our little 13 week old Springer Spaniel puppy when we went on holiday as we had only had her a few weeks. I found Doggie Home From Home on Facebook and contacted Caroline about our situation. Caroline came to our house, reassured us that Dottie would be absolutely fine and told us what she would be up to which completely put our minds at ease.
Whilst we were away we were able to see some great updates on the DHFH Facebook page of what our cheeky puppy was up to and how she was socialising which was very amusing.
Upon going on and returning from holiday, the lovely Caroline picked up and dropped Dottie off which made things so much easier!
Dottie had an amazing holiday and we had the comfort of knowing that she was very happy.

Our rescue lab-collie cross Tallie came to us after a very traumatic life. She was nervous and unsettled around new people and places, and afraid to alone especially at night. So when we had to find someone to care for her while we got married I spent hours searching, reading reviews and contacting local kennels. Until I found Caroline. One message explaining Tallie’s background and I could tell Caroline was the perfect person to look after her! From first contact, it was clear how much Caroline loves and cares for every dog she comes into contact with. She took the time to come and meet Tallie before her first stay, then picked her up and dropped her back at home. Tallie clearly loved being with Caroline and when she’s been back to stay with Caroline it was like seeing Tallie greet an old friend. We can’t recommend Doggie Home From Home highly enough!

Well where do i start! Caroline is just amazing, she has helped with our 10month old alaskan malamute Zeus now for the last 4 weeks.

I am extremely picky as to who looks after my baby, i wasn’t prepared to put him in kennels this was a no no luckily Caroline had spaces available.From the first meet and greet i straight away new that our boy would be well looked after – Caroline is nothing but professional.

Whilst on holiday for a fortnight Caroline constantly kept in touch whether it be photos or texts. Which automatically put us at ease, it was clear to us that Zeus was looked after as if he was part of Carolines family.

On Zeus’s return we noticed how much Zeus pined for Caroline and all the other dogs this is when we made the decision to put Zeus into daycare everyday.

Caroline Picks Zeus up around 7:30am and drops him back off at 5:30pm she is always flexible if i’m to text and ask if she can drop him off later due to work commitments (Never a problem.) She has even been to do my dog food shopping… what a STAR!! Zeus is really fussy at the moment with food Caroline again has been amazing with this and tried to support us in every way possible. She must be some kind of miracle worker also as Zeus always comes home tired after day care.. he’s usually snoozing from the minute he gets through the door!

I cannot compliment Caroline enough for the service she has and continues to provide us and Zeus. I would highly recommend Doggie Home from Home to anybody who requires a temporary loving home for there fur babies.

I’m stanley i am 3 ( its my birthday today) and ive not long moved here with my mummy, i had so much fun spending lots of time with my mummy but then she found a job here,but was worried about leaving me. mummy found caroline on facebook and she came to see me.i usually get nervous meeting new people but i loved her straight away, and told mummy id be fine with her. caroline comes to collect me for a walk, i get to go and play with other dogs (i love this the most) then i get dropped off back home where i have a little nap and wait for mummy to come home. mummy says ive got a better social life then her ;D
